Types of Infrastructure & Development Complaints in India

1. Roads & Transport

  1. Poor condition of roads, potholes, incomplete construction.
  2. Lack of public transport facilities or unsafe buses/trains.
  3. Delay in highway, metro, or flyover projects.
  4. Encroachments or illegal toll collections.

2. Housing & Urban Development

  1. Delay or corruption in government housing schemes (PMAY, etc.).
  2. Illegal land grabbing or encroachments.
  3. Unsafe, substandard construction of government housing or slums.
  4. Displacement of families without rehabilitation during development projects.

3. Water Supply & Sanitation

  1. Non-availability of clean drinking water.
  2. Broken pipelines, sewage overflow, or poor drainage systems.
  3. Delay in completion of water projects.
  4. Denial of water/sanitation in slums or rural areas.

4. Electricity & Energy

  1. Unreliable or irregular power supply.
  2. Delay in rural electrification schemes.
  3. Illegal billing or corruption in electricity distribution.
