Consumer Complaints 

  • If the company fails to provide good service or products, customers have the right to file a complaint against the company.

The Consumer Protection Act guarantees the following six consumer rights:

Right to Safety
  • The right to be protected against marketing goods and services that are hazardous to life and property.
Right to be informed.
  • The right to be informed about the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of goods or services, as the case may be, to protect the consumer against unfair trade practices.
Right to Choose
  • The right to be assured, wherever possible, access to various goods and services at competitive prices.
Right to be heard.
  • The right to be heard and to be assured that consumers’ interests will receive due consideration at appropriate times.
Right to Redressal
  • The right to seek redress against unfair trade practices, restrictive trade practices, or unscrupulous exploitation of consumers.
Right to Consumer Education
