Cyber Complaint Registration with Helpful Foundation🛡️ 


📌Cases We Accept

We handle only the following types of complaints:
  1. Refusal to register an FIR – When the police or concerned authority has denied filing your First Information Report.

  2. No action taken by local authority – When the responsible authority fails to act on your submitted complaint.

  3. Cyber Crime Complaints – If your complaint has been registered on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal but no appropriate action has been taken within 30 to 90 days.

  4. ⚖️ Note:We accept only those cybercrime cases where the victim has already registered the complaint on the official portal but no further action has been initiated by the authorities within 30 to 90 days.

⚖️ Initial Legal Assistance (Free)

  1. Within 48 hours, our team will call the complainant/victim.
  2. We will provide legal aid and guidance on what actions can be taken by him/her.
  3. ⚖️ Note: Free legal assistance is provided only two times per case.

đź“‚Case Handling Request

  1. If the victim/complainant wishes the Helpful Foundation to take up the case and fight on their behalf, they can formally request this service.

đź’°Processing Fees

  1. In such cases, the complainant/victim will need to pay the applicable fee.
  2. Once the fee is received, the Helpful Foundation team will begin full case processing and representation.

âś… This ensures transparency: basic guidance is free, but full case handling requires a fee to support legal and operational expenses.


🏅 Membership & Fee Policy

  1. HF Membership Holders: No fee is required to register a complaint.

  2. Non-Members: Fees apply for complaint registration and legal action.

  3. BPL Card Holders: All services are completely free of cost with valid proof.

🔹 Legal fees depend on the nature and complexity of the case. The exact fee will be communicated before filing or taking legal action.

Victims may approach Helpful Foundation for assistance in cases where cybercrime complaints have been registered on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal but no action has been taken by the authorities within 30 days.

👉 NOTE:
  1. HF Membership Holders: No fee is required to register a complaint or seek assistance.

  2. Non-Members: A fee is applicable for legal action and registration of the complaint.

  3. Special Benefit for BPL Card Holders

    All services offered by Helpful Foundation are completely free of cost for individuals holding a valid BPL (Below Poverty Line) Card.


👉 Note on Legal Fees
  1. The legal fee for processing and pursuing a complaint with Helpful Foundation depends on the nature and complexity of the case.

  2. Non-members are required to pay the applicable legal fee, which will be communicated based on the specifics of the case, before filing or taking legal action.

  3. The complainant will be informed of the exact fee amount prior to proceeding with any legal or administrative process.

The Helpful Foundation ensures that victims of cyber crime are not left waiting endlessly after filing a complaint.

We track the status of complaints pending with cyber cells, police stations, and other authorities.

Regular follow-ups are done to ensure the case is not ignored.

🔹 Fast-Tracking

If a complaint has been pending for 30 to 90 days or more, our team intervenes.

We send reminders, representations, and legal letters to concerned authorities.

We escalate matters to higher officials or commissions if there is undue delay.

🔹 Victim Assistance

Victims are updated regularly about the status of their complaint.

We ensure confidentiality and protection for the complainant.

Legal aid and technical advice are provided throughout the process.
