The Delhi NCT Government, under Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, has reportedly wasted, lost, and rendered unfruitful funds amounting to ₹189.66 crore. This situation involves various violations of several acts and regulations. A total of five performance audits have been conducted, focusing on the following areas: the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, Management of Jails, Schemes for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, the Member of Legislative Assembly Local Area Development Scheme, and Mechanization of Conservancy and Sanitation Services. These audits detail 15 paragraphs that highlight issues related to excessive, wasteful, unfruitful, infructuous, and avoidable expenditures, idle investments, losses, and blocking of funds, among other financial mismanagement concerns.
